SOUTH CAROLINA
Yesterday Shelley and I and 16 others from the anchorage set out early to conquer the tallest mountain in Providencia... Taking 1 1/2 hours up and just under an hour down, we hiked to an altitude of 1050 feet over a distance of 6 miles, equivalant to 65 flights of stairs or 13,300 steps! AND WE LIVED TO TELL ABOUT IT!!
We hired two taxis to dive us to the base then pick us up to take us to the beach for lunch then back to our dinghies..
