Open House (I Mean Boat....)

You know they say that it takes a village to raise a child... I have come to believe that it takes an whole bunch of people to re-fit a boat....


Today Shelley and I invited all the folks who have helped us in various ways to complete our re-fit to an afternoon barbecue. We served hot dogs, hamburgs and drinks to about 60 people.... Some helped us in a "hands on" way and others helped with more moral support, all in all though our "village" came together. Thank you to everyone!

Next week we will be picking up a new cover and then will close the boat for the winter. Next spring we will truck the boat back to Lake Ontario and spend next summer shaking Blowin' Bubbles down getting ready to depart on July 1st 2014... Just 669 days from today (but who's counting)....
